If that's the question the answer can't be 42... that's what catches them in the book... they want the answer to life, the universe and everything and the computer spits out 42... 42 is the answer... but the computer says the answer really isn't as important as the question and it creates another 'computer' to work out the ultimate question... the new 'computer' is Earth.Awesome neh?

Ned - 1.618 is called the 'divine proportion' everything in Nature conforms to it... the proportion from your shoulder to your fingertips against your elbow to your finger tips... sea shells, music... the proportion is all over nature... its everywhere... hence its called the divine proportion.
